Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 -- Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival
9 a.m. Adjudication; 2:30 p.m. concert. Meet in Cogswell Music Hall.
For students of all ages - children through adults. Performers will receive ratings and comments from guest adjudicator, Nanette Kaplan-Solomon Winners are eligible to compete in the Dorothy Sutton statewide PMTA festival held on Nov. 7 at Elizabethtown University. Dr. Solomon will also offer an adjudication workshop for college students.
Saturday Feb. 27, 2016 - 3rd Annual Monster Concert,
9 a.m. - 2 p.m. rehearsal; 2 p.m. concert. 121 Cogswell Music Hall
The Monster Concert will feature student musicians in piano duos, 4 hands, and larger ensembles in varying levels of ability. We will rehearse in room 121 Cosgwell at IUP in the morning and perform a concert in room 121 Cogswell for the communityat 2 p.m.
Saturday Apr. 9, 2016 - Performers Workshop: Focus on Movement
9 a,m. - 12 noon. Cogswell Music Hall.
For all ages - elementary, high school, and adult performers of keyboard and other instruments. Workshop Clinician: PMTA's Jacqueline Herbein. Jackie has a certificate in Anatomy/Physiology and advocates the Alexander Technique for musicians.
