3rd Annual Monster Concert
Saturday, Feb. 27th, 2016
Register by Nov. 30 to be part of Indiana Musicale's 3rd Annual Piano Monster Concert! Over a dozen Steinway pianos on stage for a
giant piano ensemble concert!
All events take place in Cogswell Hall, room 121, at IUP.
Activities begin at 9:00am
Concert at 2:30pm
Monster Concert includes:
Small and Large Ensemble rehearsals, individual instruction, one-on-one supervised practicing, and fun group activities, all with IUP's piano faculty and IMTA teachers.
Saturday’s activities also include free breakfast snacks and lunch in Foster Dining Hall.
Students 8-18 and their teachers are eligible to register in Division I (1-3 years of piano study) or Division II (4 or more years of study). Each division will have separate repertoire, and will offer age appropriate activities. There will also be two pieces for both divisions performing together!
Deadline for registration is Nov. 30, 2015.
The cost of the Piano Monster Concert is $25.
Due to our overwhelming success last year, don’t delay as space will be limited!
Students will receive their ensemble music by December 15th, 2015, and are requested to work on the music with their private teacher at that time.
2016 Monster Concert Pieces
